C. A. Litzler Company, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) cares about your privacy. We want to keep your information safe. This policy explains what Personal Information we collect when you use our websites, apps, products, and services (“Services”). It also explains how we use, store, and share that information.

1. SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This policy covers information we collect when you use our Services. This includes information from emails, texts, chats, and other messages you send us. It also covers information collected when you see our ads on other websites that link to this policy.

This policy does not cover information we collect offline. It also does not cover information collected on other websites we run that do not link to this policy. And it does not cover information collected by other companies, even if their content links to our Services.

Please read this policy carefully. It tells you how we handle your information. When you use our Services or give us your information, you agree to this policy. We may change this policy from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). If you keep using our Services after we make changes, that means you accept the new policy. Please check back often for updates.

2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

“Personal Information” is information that identifies, relates to, or describes, directly or indirectly, you as an individual, such as your name, email address, telephone number, home address, or payment information. The types and categories of Personal Information we collect or process include:

  • Account and contact information, including name, address, email address, phone number, company name, username, and other contact information you provide us.
  • Device information, including your IP address, device identifiers, operating system and version, preferred language, hardware identifiers, browser type and settings, and other device information.
  • Content and information you elect to provide as part of your profile, contact forms, or in any reviews, emails, chats, or other communications sent to us.
  • Location information, including general geographic location such as country, state or province, or city.
  • Sensitive Personal Information. We do not collect sensitive Personal Information on purpose. This includes things like Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account details, precise location, race, religion, genetic or biometric data, health information, sexual orientation, or immigration status. If we start collecting this type of information later, we will update this policy.

We also collect statistics or aggregated information that does not directly identify a specific person. For example, we may aggregate Personal Information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Services feature. Technical information is also collected, including information about your internet connection and usage details about your interactions with the Services, such as clickstream information, page response times, download errors, length of your visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), or methods used to browse away from a page. If we combine or connect non-personal statistical or technical data with Personal Information so that it directly or indirectly identifies an individual, we treat the combined information as Personal Information.

3. HOW WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL AND OTHER DATA

Information You Give Us. We collect information when you use our Services. This happens when you create an account, place an order, sign up for something, take a survey, enter a promotion, fill out a form, or contact us.

Information We Collect Automatically. When you use our Services, we automatically collect some information. This may include details about how you use our Services, your IP address, your operating system, your browser type, and information from cookies and other tracking tools.

Using automatic collection technologies helps us to improve our Services and to deliver a better and more personalized experience. The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

  • Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you interact with the Services. You may refuse to accept or disable cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or device. However, if you select this setting, you may be unable to access certain features of the Services.

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any Personal Information, to:

  • Send you marketing and ads, including ads based on your interests, and see how well our marketing works.
  • Improve our Services, including by analyzing your information and creating aggregated data derived from your information to develop, maintain, analyze, improve, optimize, measure, and report on our Services and their features and how users interact with them.
  • Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
  • Notify you when Services updates are available and about changes to any products or services we offer or provide through them.
  • In any other way we may describe when you provide the information, or for any other purpose with your consent.
  • Protecting our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and/or that of our affiliates, you, or others.

Sale of Personal Information. We do not sell your Personal Information for money. However, some advertising tools we use may count as “selling” or “sharing” your information under certain state laws. This is because these tools may use data from cookies to show you targeted ads. You can opt out of this as explained in Section 7 below.

5. DATA RETENTION

We use the following business and legal criteria in determining whether it may reasonably retain Personal Information and related records collected online (e.g., websites and mobile devices, online platforms, and user interactions with our advertisements): (i) applicable laws (including those mandating retention data and records for certain periods of time); (ii) the existence of an applicable legal hold or other substantial need to protect and defend the rights of the Company, you, or any third party; (iii) our ongoing assessment of the currency of the data, the need to retain it in order to fulfill a contract or other agreement, or to meet our specific business requirements (including maintenance and improvement of any online Services); and (iv) our balancing of reasonable risk considerations related to the ongoing retention and use of specific categories of data. At the end of the retention period, Personal Information will be deleted, destroyed, or de-identified.

6. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction. We may also disclose Personal Information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our organization and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep Personal Information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all Company assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by the Company is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it, or for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information, or with your consent.
  • We may also disclose your Personal Information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; and if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of our organization, our customers, or others.

7. YOUR CHOICES ABOUT YOUR INFORMATION

This section explains how you can control how we use your information. You may also have certain rights under state law, depending on where you live.

Cookies and Tracking Choices. You can set your browser to block cookies or warn you when cookies are being used. If you block cookies, some parts of our Services may not work well. You may manage your preferences for non-essential cookies at any time by selecting the Cookie Settings icon available on our Site. We use four types of cookies: (1) necessary cookies that make our Services work; (2) functional cookies that remember your preferences; (3) analytics cookies that help us see how people use our Services; and (4) advertising cookies that show you relevant ads.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signal. Currently, we do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry-standard technology for recognizing or honoring DNT signals. If a standard is established in the future, we may revisit this practice.

Communications and Marketing. If you submit a contact form through the Site, we will send you a confirmation email and may follow up with additional communications related to your inquiry. We may also send you marketing or promotional communications.

You may opt out of receiving marketing or promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included in our emails or by contacting us at privacy@calitzler.com. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages (such as responses to your inquiries).

8. YOUR STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

If you are a resident of a U.S. state with an applicable comprehensive privacy law (including, but not limited to, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), you may have the following rights with respect to your Personal Information, subject to applicable law and any exceptions:

  • Right to Know / Access: You have the right to confirm whether we are processing your Personal Information and to access the specific pieces or categories of Personal Information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Correction: You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Data Portability: Where applicable, you have the right to obtain a copy of your Personal Information in a portable and readily usable format.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale / Sharing / Targeted Advertising / Profiling: You have the right to opt out of the sale of your Personal Information, the sharing of your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, the creation of profiles using your information, and/or the processing of your Personal Information for purposes of targeted advertising.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
  • Right to Appeal: If we decline your privacy request, you may have the right to appeal our decision. To appeal, please contact us using the information in Section 9 below and include “Privacy Rights Appeal” in the subject line.

Important: The exact scope of these rights varies by state. There are also several exceptions where we may not have an obligation to fulfill your request. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in the Contact Information section below.

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt out of certain Personal Information sales. Residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights may submit a request to this designated address: privacy@calitzler.com or the phone number below. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

Financial Incentives. We do not currently offer any financial incentive programs (such as loyalty programs, discounts, or other benefits) that are directly tied to the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of your Personal Information. If we offer such programs in the future, we will update this policy to provide the material terms of any such program, including a description of the incentive offered, the categories of Personal Information involved, and how you may opt in or withdraw from the program.

9. HOW TO MAKE A REQUEST

To exercise any of the rights described above, you may submit a request by:

We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Verification may require you to provide information that matches the Personal Information we have on file.

You can have someone else make a privacy request for you. This person is called an “authorized agent.” You must give them written permission signed by you. We may also ask you to confirm your identity directly and confirm that you gave the agent permission. If the agent has a legal power of attorney, they can make requests without these extra steps. We may say no to requests from agents who do not prove they have permission.

We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally 45 days, which may be extended by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary).

10. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We use commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to protect your Personal Information from accidental loss or destruction and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, no website, mobile application, system, electronic storage, or online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to, through, using, or in connection with the Services. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for taking steps to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized use, disclosure, and access.

11. CHILDREN’S AND MINORS’ DATA

Our Services are not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from, children under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 18 years old without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

12. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services over which C. A. Litzler exercises no control. These other sites may place their own cookies on your device, collect data, or solicit Personal Information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of every website you visit.

13. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Our Services are run from the United States. If you are outside the United States, any information you give us will be sent to and processed in the United States. By using our Services, you agree to this transfer. We will take steps to make sure your Personal Information is protected.

14. CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. We will tell you about changes as required by law. The date the policy was last updated is at the top of this page. When we make changes, we will update the “last updated” date and post the new policy on our Services.
